Robin
I knew her look well, giving a slight frown. "What are our names then?" I ask the kid. She needed proof then, fine. I look over to her, raising an eyebrow. No one around but us, so not like anyone could overhear. Looking back to the kid, waiting patiently.

(*thinks it would be AMAZING if Tim slipped up and called Spades Grayson too* XD)

AHAHAH YES...
Robin
"Richard Grayson and Elizabeth Grayson." I answered simply, then froze "Er, wait... I mean... Elizabeth Green... you're Elizabeth Green now" Shoot, if I just screwed up the timelines...

Robin
...lulWUT.
I cant' help but crack a smile. 'Cause...what else do you do in this situation? Sure we date but, ahhhhh......
You did promise forever, Grayson.
"Huh." Yup. All I have to say...about that...

Spades
That's stupid, my last name was Green, why woul-
Oh... wait... Oh. Oh... er... wow... I blushed, my eyes widening slightly. Then I glanced over at Richie, my face turning a little more pink.
"S-sorry, I didn't mean to make this awkward, I er... sorry... sorry..." The kid stuttered out

Robin
"No, it's...er...fine," I say again. Because, you know...Spades, who couldn't even PDA yet...
I laugh a little, just because. Better stop saying you're not worth it, Spades...

Spades
There's... got to be some kind of mix up here. Somehow. I don't know how, but... really... future Richard has gotta be in some contest for sainthood to become that committed, that involved...tosomeonelikeme...
Then again, he did say forever. Didn't think he meant it that much, though.

Robin
Hm. What now. "Got any /other/ ideas, besides proving your story right?" I ask in an attempt to get off the subject. Not that anyone was saying anything, but Spades was all... /that/... and the kid looked about ready to stress himself to death. My smile *really* needed to go away...soon...

Robin
"Er..." I paused for a moment, doing a quick and calculated visual sweep of the immediate area "Personally, I think we should investigate the wall" I gestured to the large slab of whatever material that was, reaching up to the sky "We may be able to discover some kind of purpose there, whether it be imprisonment or some other such thing. Additionally, it looks relatively modern in comparison to the other structures, so it has obviously been added more recently, and the people that constructed the rest of the settlement most likely didn't have the technology necessary to create something so large and structurally sound"

Robin
I follow his gesture, eying the wall again. A bit hesitant, I take a moment to consider. "Going closer would put us closer to any danger. The town seems deserted, so where's the people who put us here? And we also have to consider the wall may not be keeping us in, but something else out." Kid was smart but...I didn't really want to go over there without knowing something else about this island. Set up defenses before going out to attack...or whatever might happen going near that place.
Glancing up at the sun, a little past midday. "Either the people here dont want us to know they're around or we are, in fact, alone. Both cases, I dont really see any case of outside help anytime soon. We need to focus on survival first, setting up a home base and getting to know our territory and resources before trying to venture out to some other foreign place..."

Robin
"I wasn't suggesting we rush into the situation, but approach it cautiously so we at least get /some/ sign of what's going on here..." I trailed off, fidgeting nervously. I liked knowledge, cold hard facts. They were comforting. Reassuring. But I thought over what he said, and finally nodded "Though I guess you're right"

Robin
"Caution sometimes doesn't work, no matter how good you are." Got a few cuts and bruises that way, trying to hide in the shadows. Seems only Bats can do that perfectly...
"We could go soon, I'd just like a layout I know well in case this turns into a fight or anything." I had to wonder if he was just agreeing because he wanted to or because of the me he knew...

xD that was gonna be in the next post

Robin
Alright, I wasn't going to argue with Nightwing, no matter what age. I nodded again "Okay. Should we set up some kind of grid pattern and examine the area within the confines of one certain space at a time, or...?"

Robin
Jeez, Bruce...where the heck do you find this kid...
"That'd be best. I didn't see anything walking through town, but there might be others that are just unconscious in the buildings somewhere..." My voice trails off slightly as I glance over to Spades concerned. Oddly quiet through all of this...but then maybe she was still all...'marriage....huh....' In...a slightly more freaking-out sort of way...

I think it'd be more"IJFEFNJFLKJNVFJMARRIAGEVFKFV", Rob

Spades
Still trying to get my head wrapped around everything. Depose ted on island, running into some boy genius Robin from the future... future marriage... having a little hard time processing everything. Then Robin glanced over at me, and I shrugged slightly"Sounds good"

Robin
I nod again, gravitating towards her slightly as I look back to...future Robin. No PDA, she didn't like that... Didn't want to put her outside of her comfort zone anymore... But just moving an inch closer, let her know I was here for...whatever, it seemed. "You want to lead the way?" I ask him.

Robin
"If we're going to use a grid pattern system to efficiently and quickly scan the island, then we should divide up the space using significant landmarks, split up, and each take a sector, and meet up back here and exchange significant findings" I paused for a moment, wondering if my plan had any major flaws, or if I had overstepped any boundaries "Er... you know... if you want to"

Robin
I nod again, back to thinking it through carefully. I was concerned with safety, he with efficiency. "Stay within hearing distance of one another. We dont know if this place is really deserted yet, and I'd rather not lose any allies if I can help it."

Robin
I nodded "Well... yeah... sorry..." I couldn't help but feel I messed up somehow, and I gave a slightly sheepish grimace "Er... how to divide land up, then?"

Robin
I look around again, my eyes on the wall last. "Go to the beaches, work our way inward. Keeping an eye out for food and drinkable water..." This would be easier if our communicators worked... though there might be the problem of ours not being able to connect to his, since they were 'older' models. "Well leave time to make camp somewhere and we'll map out our findings."

I would like to join this, but I have a question. Is it only DC and Marvel characters allowed?
