Conor:
"You gotta admit Jenna those are good odds" I say.
"Are you insane?" she says, "Those are terrible odds!"
"Well, I was pretty much built for odds like that so I'm ready"

"Seeing as a probability of one indicates absolute certainty, a probability of 1.002 indicates that the project is more than certain to take place correctly. 0.0043, however, may need some work. But I have a plan."
F961 stops for a moment and presses his fingers to his visor in thought. "Aha!" He turns round. "We'd better make sure that jaws here doesn't hear my plan," he says, and punches the zealot as hard as he can in the top jaw.

"In future, be more specific. A 0.93 chance is very different to a 0.93 % chance. If we loaded this ship with as much explosive material as we could, and then sent it into the Covenant dry-dock here. We could disrupt them and let them believe that the attack is occurring three systems away from High Charity, and coming from the opposite direction."

Conor:
Jenna says, "Okay that would raise your chances of entering covenant space but it would not for getting to High Charity, you honestly think they would take any defenses away from the capitol of the entire Covenant and then there are the planetary defenses of the Sangelli homeworld to think about as well"

"You're right, we need a second stage to the plan."
F961 paces back and forth across the shuttle bay, steepling his fingers. He stops, and stares at the seraph.
"Could these be controlled remotely?" he asks.

I say, "Where are you going with this F?"

"We split these into two groups. All of the seraphs in one group are filled with high explosive, the others are given extra weaponry. The first group are directed to attack High Charity. They won't be detected until it is too late, at which point they bombard High Charity, using their payloads of explosives to damage it. Then, the second wave attack, and retreat, drawing out covenant defences. Then the human fleet attacks. We don't stay: we just kidnap the prophets and cause as much damage as we can on the way out."

"I'll take that as a yes. Then, after the two waves of seraphs have accomplished their missions, this cruiser drops into a synchronous orbit with High Charity, and bombards it from a distance. That should draw the fire from High Charity and the Sanghelli homeworld. Then, under this cover, a squadron of longswords approach in a line that places High Charity between them and the planet, and dock under cover of the bombardment."
F961 turns to face them. "What do you think?"

Conor:
"Well when do you think the plan should commence?" I ask
Jenna says, "Well it will take me only a few hours to dispense with the Seraph's AIs but the ship itself will need a full over haul and reboot that will take us up to about a day's preperations. And remember if this were humans or lesser AIs the job would take months!"
