Nikkie: I finally made it to the lake, probably with only minutes to spare. I ran to the edge, wondering if I could drink the water. I started panting, completely out of breath. I was definitely going to need something to drink soon. Just then, I spotted a guy near me, and my heart nearly stopped. What should I do? Should I talk to him?

Riku:
I look over and a few feet away there is a girl about my age maybe a year or two younger looking at me. "Who are you?" I ask pulling my huge warhammer off of my back. I wasn't going to blindly kill people anymore. As a career I knew I needed alliances this girl would make as good an alliance as any. But I had to be cautious.

My blade glints in the sunlight, "I'm waiting, I am very impatient right now, after being injured and used by that guy over there" I point to Riku, "I am not in a good mood!"

I was just offline, lol.

::Flay::
I look down at the water. I swim to the edge of the lake, so at least my front is covered.
"I've got nothing to offer you, anyways. Everything sunk to the bottom in the fall," I hide my pack so deep in the water he can't possibly see.
"And, you won't kill me. I'm from 1, you're probably from 12 or something like that. Even with that blade, you're nothing compared to me," I add confidently.
Of course I'm vulnerable here, and he's probably from 2 or 1 as well. I have to be strong in my last moments, though.

Conor:
I look down at her and smirk. I figure I could take a leaf out of the careers book and try for an alliance. "No, I am actually from one myself," I show her my tattoo, "and I want to make an alliance, and I want your honest to God truth, so now I am putting my sword away and you can decide wether to try killing me or not" I put my sword across my back. "You're choice" I back up a few feet and look down at her.

"I'd really appreciate if you didn't look at me like that, since we really both know I'm naked," I say calmly.
He was a guy, and I knew how they worked, but still. This was the Hunger Games, not a place to see some action.
"And for your district, that could have been faked. Here," I reach down to the pack I lied about losing and pull out a rope in a knot, "if you can untie this like us Careers learned in training, I'll do it."
I hand it up to him and look around. Others are arriving . . . This is the time to kill. Just had to make sure which side he was on.

Conor:

I look at the knot and back down at her. I smile, I have a few tricks up my sleeve. I draw my blade and I laugh at the look of horror on her face. I raise my blade and slash the knot in half, and as I do that it comes loose. "Ever heard of Alexander the Great and the Gordian knot? This kind of reminded me of him" I say smiling and dropping her rope back down. "And I'm not looking at you like this because you are naked, don't flatter yourself, this is the games i wouldnt want to get too attached to someone. Was that good enough for you anyway? I mean why take the hard way of untying it when cutting through it is just as easy?"

Hey Corn xD

::Flay::
"Good enough. Fine, alliance. But we're going to have to learn to trust each other a hell of a lot better than we do now . . . whats-your-face," I try to act unimpressed, but neither of us are falling for it, and the cameras wouldn't either, the very same cameras who are trying to get some stupid nudity shot of me.
Annoyed, I hold back a glare for the sake of sponsors and ask, "Got any cloth in there? I mean, covered in mud I'd be pretty camouflaged, but still, if we're on camera and I'm going to be beside you for the rest of these games, I won't want to parade around in the nude."

Conor:
"I've got my sword my rope and my jump suit." I say "I could kind of make you a cloth bikine or something from my shirt I know its kind of weird but its the best I an do". I tear my shirt off into two pieces and I made a makeshift bikini with it and some rope. I gave them to her "are you okay with that?"

"Maybe it's hot now, but I'll freeze overnight. Oh well, better than nothing, right?" I reached to grab it.
"Turn away when I pull it on, please," I say in a mocking high voice.
I wonder why we were all called here. 10 minutes are almost up, and it's still us three.
"Wait... You don't think we went to the wrong lale, right?"

I quickly crawl out and slip it on, faster than the cameras can see. Thank god.
"Find out soon enough? You mean, we'll find out when the cloak comes over to kill us on the first day Did you learn nothing in training? Always be prepared, never stop moving, and ALWAYS be positive of what you're drinking, eating, or following. If no one else comes in the next thirty seconds, we must be in the wrong place, and . . ."
"One minute remains," the speakers cackled.

I cross my arms over my chest, trying to cover most of me up, "Keep your eyes off me. Get to like me and you'll get a bad shock when you wake up seeing my head cut off," I growl.
A thief? Oh no. "Was it best to say that on cameras, when everyone is hearing about your illegal life? Oh, whatever, you'll be dead by the end so they won't get a chance to punish you."
"Thirty seconds remain..."

"Alright, enough bickering," I hiss, "let's just go spill some of their blood. Everyone will probably think we shouldn't kill each other because we were instructed to go here, but the game-makers have done this before, it's because we're not exciting enough and they're doing an obvious yet clever way to round us all up. They're waiting for further instructions, and we're ready to kill."
I pull my pack out of the water, it was floating on the top. I was so itchy. Weird. Looking over at my ally, I saw his skin was turning orange-red. Like mine.
"Oh shit. I think something was in that water."

I want to move. . . And suddenly, I can't. Good thing I've got an ally, or I'd be dead already. I feel like I'm on fire, and when I look down, I see why. I've got it a lot worse than my ally, whose name I still needed to know, who only got a rash from the water. I have that . . . And fire ants, crawling all over me, tiny squirming bugs making me feel like I'm roasting. They probably were in my pack and awoke when it went underwater.
I scream. I can't speak, or move, only scream. I feel down onto my back, face twisted into extreme pain, wanting to seem strong but unable to do anything other than scream and feel the pain of thousands of ants burning and biting every inch of me.

I hear flay scream and I turn and see her writhing in pain at first I'm confused then I see the ants all over her. I run over and start panicking. The water the ants would get off in the water the anatomy said they would form a living raft and float away. I knew it would maybe worsen her rash but better temporary paralasys then death. I roll her into the water and watch the ants float off. I grab her dagger and throw her pack after them. I then pull her out and ask if she's ok,
